November Sew Days

Standard

Lori was sick (poor Lori!) so I did a quick photo-essay of our guild sew days on November 9-10. Actually, I only did a photo-essay of the 10th since I wasn’t there the 9th. So we don’t have pics of everyone who participated–sorry! But here’s a small sampling of the incredible gifts and talent represented for the weekend, tee hee.

March 2012 Sew-Days

Standard

More or less once a month, the Canal Country Quilters meet for sew days, usually on a Friday and Saturday. Some folks come both days, full-time; others come for an hour or two here and there as they can. Pot-luck lunch and, as usually happens where quilters gather, lots of chocolate occurs.

Once in awhile, we may plan something particular for the sew-days: a charity project, for example, or a class. In March, guild member Mary taught a class on invisible machine applique.

Here’s our slide show for the March 2012 days.
