On January 5th we lost a dear fellow quilter, Vicki. It was a very sudden thing. We all reeled from the shock. It wasn’t suppose to happen that way! But then in death, in our very limited understanding, there is no reasoning to it. No sense of timing. No right time. We joined together at the meeting to talk a little about Vicki, our memories of her. We were so very lucky to have the gift of Vicki. She was a very vital, lovely human being. She always had a hug, a smile, a listening ear to those around her who needed it. Her laugh was full and rich and genuine. She had a silly goofiness about her that could just make people giggle. Yet, she was always a poised lady who was very devoted to God. She will be missed by many!
Scrap In A Box
Charlotte released the first step in her Mystery Quilt. It is on her blog… Scrapitude Quilts.
The first quilt here is a donation quilt done by the quilters who were at retreat. It has been quilted by Tara. The quilt will be donated to The Aurora House.
